Apple Releases iOS 15.5 Beta 2

Apple has just released a new beta build of iOS 15.5, this time only for developers (though the public beta should go live any day now).

iOS 15.5 beta 2 doesn’t come with a changelog right now, but it’s safe to assume Apple has been specifically focused on further polishing the experience with the first beta and resolving the bugs in the original release.

iOS 15.5 will come with some changes for the Wallet app, including the addition of new request and sed buttons for Apple Cash. Interestingly, Apple Pay has also been renamed to Apple Cash in the Messages app.

At this point, it’s not yet known when iOS 15.5 could be shipped to production devices, but this is likely to happen next month.

While Apple is giving the finishing touches to another iOS 15 update, many people out there are already looking forward to the next major operating system release due later this year.
