Despite rumors of Pokemon GO for Apple Watch being canceled after the game was announced back in September, Niantic announced earlier this month that these allegations are false and that it will soon release the promised game to iOS fans.
Today, Niantic announced that Pokemon GO is available on the Apple Watch, just in time for the holiday season. Those who own the iOS device will now be able to explore and experience the world around them directly from the wrist.
According to developers, “Apple Watch is particularly well suited to Pokémon GO as it seamlessly combines gameplay and imagination with getting exercise and exploring the real world.”
