Apple’s 2018 iPhone trio is expected to include a more affordable 6.1-inch LCD version, and while the Cupertino-based firm may come down to a series of cost-saving measures to reduce the price, it looks like the camera won’t be so severely hit as originally thought.
A new alleged leak coming via SlashLeaks claims to reveal the camera on the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, and if it’s real, then Apple is planning several upgrades over the single-lens setup on the iPhone 8.
First and foremost, one way to lower the manufacturing cost of this particular iPhone model, and therefore the price that you have to pay when buying it, is replacing the dual-camera configuration found on the iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus with a single-lens shooter.
