Android Loses the Fight With iPhone in the Office

While Android is the leading choice in terms of mobile operating system worldwide, not the same thing can be said about particular areas of the market, like the enterprise.

Data published by Egnyte, a company offering data storage and file sharing services to enterprises, shows that iOS is the preferred choice for companies, with iOS accounting for a big part of its traffic.

Specifically, its research shows that no less than 79 percent out of 16 petabytes of data was made from iOS devices, while Android accounts for the rest of 21 percent.

In the iOS world, iPhones are responsible for 59 percent of the traffic, while iPads generated 41 percent.

Also interesting is the chart showing what iOS devices are being used to connect to Egnyte services.
