Adobe Photoshop for iPad Officially Released, Now Available to Download for Free

After much teasing, Adobe finally released today the Adobe Photoshop app for iPad devices, which is available to download for free from the App Store.

Adobe’s famous Photoshop software is now finally available for Apple’s iPad tablets running the latest iPadOS operating system, and it’s compatible with Adobe Photoshop for PC and Mac so you can sync your artwork if you’re an Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) subscriber. If not, you can use Adobe Photoshop for iPad as a free 30-day trial.

While missing some key features that are available on PC and Mac, some of which Adobe promises to add in future releases, the first version of Adobe Photoshop for iPad focuses on core compositing and retouching tools, which have been specifically optimized to work with both touch and the Apple Pencil on iPad devices.

NOTE: You can now download Photoshop for iPad.
