iPhone 14 Pro Will Almost Certainly Get Always-On

Everybody’s waiting for the upcoming iPhone 14 lineup due to launch in the fall, and while Apple has remained completely tight-lipped on everything related to the new-generation models, a lot of information comes from unofficial channels.

This time, it’s Mark Gurman from Bloomberg the one that comes up with some information on the iPhone 14 Pro models.

According to Gurman, the Cupertino-based tech giant is working around the clock on overhauling the lock screen. And one of the new features to make its way to users with the release of the next iPhone is support for always-on, something that Android devices have been offering for a very long time.

With an always-on display, the iPhone 14 will essentially be able to show essential information, such as the current time and a series of notifications, most likely in the form of icons, right on the lock screen and without the need for the entire display to light up.
