iOS 16 Includes a Major Update for the Mail App

The iOS ecosystem includes plenty of worthy email apps, and probably the best alternative to the standard Mail is Microsoft’s Outlook.

Based on the Accompli client, Outlook is an app that’s continuously evolving, so there’s no surprise that its number of users keeps improving.

But on the other hand, the default Mail app continues to be a very popular choice for many iPhone users out there. And this is the reason Apple keeps working on improving the experience by adding further enhancements and new capabilities.

iOS 16, for instance, which is the next operating system update coming to the iPhone in the fall, is going to come with several notable Mail app improvements. For example, the Cupertino-based tech giant announced at WWDC that the search experience will be completely overhauled with the release of the next major iPhone update.
