iOS 15 Now Running on 9 in 10 Supported iPhones

Apple is getting ready to announce the next major iPhone operating system update, but in the meantime, the current version has reached another important milestone.

Mobile analytics company Mixpanel claims iOS 15 is now running on no more, no less than 88.9 percent of the supported iPhones out there.

In other words, nearly 9 in 10 supported iPhones (iPhone 6s and newer) are already on iOS 15, with only 10 percent still sticking with a previous version of the operating system.

Apple hasn’t provided any new stats on the iOS 15 adoption, but the company’s latest figures, which were published in January, indicated the operating system was running on 72 percent of the devices launched in the last four years.
