The final version of iOS 11 got leaked during the weekend, revealing many of the new features coming to the 2017 lineup of iPhones, and as it turns out, it all happened because of one angry Apple employee.
Apple blogger John Grubber, who has a very good track on Apple reports thanks to company insiders, says the leak happened after someone working for the Cupertino-based company decided to provide websites with direct links to the final iOS 11 build.

It appears that Apple has already finalized iOS 11, but the company is trying to keep the GM build away from users by making direct links impossible to guess. But the angry Apple employee sent the link to a number of blogs, allowing them to download the firmware and to install it on their iPhones to inspect the code.
