Apple released today the fourth maintenance update to the tvOS 11 operating system for supported Apple TV devices, version 11.4, bringing various improvements, along with security and bug fixes.
Just like iOS 11.4, which was released earlier for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices, the tvOS 11.4 software update brings AirPlay 2 to enable users to transform their Apple TV devices into speakers. Users can also use their voice to control AirPlay 2-enabled speakers from their Apple TV alongside their iPhone, iPad, and HomePod devices.
In addition, the AirPlay 2 functionality lets users control home audio system, as well as AirPlay 2-enabled speakers in their homes, and play in-sync music at the same time on multiple AirPlay 2-enabled speakers, including Apple TVs, which can be controlled from the iOS Control Center, L… (read more)
