After it has confirmed slowing down older iPhone devices to prevent sudden shutdowns due to degraded batteries, now Apple is being suite by five people in the US asking them to pay for damages caused.
According to Chicago Sun-Times, five Apple customers from different parts of the United States have filed a federal lawsuit in Chicago on Thursday claiming an unspecified amount of money in damages caused by the tech giant because it intentionally slowed down their older iPhone devices.
The plaintiffs, two from Illinois, and one from Indiana, North Carolina, and Ohio, said Apple’s practices are “deceptive, immoral and unethical” and they violate consumer protection laws. They are represented by attorney Ja… (read more)
