Apple Could Launch 4.2-Inch iPhone SE – Report

Rumors that Apple could launch a new iPhone SE this year aren’t really new, but a new report coming from Chinese media indicates that the device might actually feature a 4.2-inch screen, and not measure 4.0 inches as initially believed.

While this is highly unlikely, especially due to all the work that a new screen size would require both in terms of hardware and software, QQ claims Apple is getting ready to unveil this new device at this year’s WWDC developer conference in the summer.

Again, this is less probable given the timing of WWDC. Apple, typically unveils small product refreshes, as WWDC generally takes places too close to the new iPhone launch in September. This year, WWDC is expected to happen in early June, though the dates haven’t yet been announced.
