32-Bit Apps No Longer Supported in the Newly Released iOS 11 Beta

Apple recently released the iOS 11 beta and it seems that previous rumors were confirmed. The new mobile OS from Apple doesn’t come with support for 32-bit apps. When attempting to open a 32-bit app in iOS 11, the app does launch and a message is displayed on the screen.

The message says that “The developer of this app needs to update it to work with iOS 11.” Therefore, Apple went on and removed support for 32-bit apps in the latest iOS version. The move was expected for quite some time now. Back in 2016, Apple started warning its customers that older apps may slow down the iPhone and won’t work.

This year, Apple has said that some apps won’t work with upcoming versions of iOS. That being said, some applications will no longer work in iOS 11… (read more)
