Rumor has it that Apple is planning a major overhaul of the iPhone next year when it celebrates the 10th anniversary of the device, and one of the upgrades is likely to be an OLED display that would extend from one edge to the other of the front fascia.
While a no-bezel approach for the iPhone clearly makes sense since rivals are already doing it, Apple seems to be more inclined towards a regular OLED screen that could incorporate front-facing parts, but while retaining small bezels.
And a new concepted created by AppleiDesigner and posted on YouTube by TechDesigns shows a possible version of this new iPhone, imagining not only OLED, but also a curved screen.
It goes without saying that this feature is very similar to the one used by Samsung on the Galaxy S7 Edge, but the concept designer believes that such a feature would really make sense on the iPhone, although we’re not so sure Apple would agree with such an idea.
