One of them is the addition of USB Type-C connector, Jean Baptiste Su, Vice-President and Principal Analyst at Atherton Research, and this would technically represent the end of the Lightning port on the iPhone.
With USB Type-C, Apple would finally make the switch to this more common port that’s already adopted en-masse by the rest of the phone manufacturers and provide the convenience of carrying just one cable for several devices and purposes.
