Apple is now offering unlocked, SIM-free iPhone X devices from its online store in addition to the carrier locked versions that it sold until today.
As of today, it would appear that you can purchase an unlocked iPhone X smartphone without a SIM card directly from Apple’s online store. Both 64GB and 256GB variants are currently available for purchase, and customers can buy the new iPhone in Space Gray or Silver color.
Until now, you could only buy the iPhone X from Apple’s online store with a mobile carrier like AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, or Verizon through the iPhone Upgrade Program. In this case, you could buy the iPhone X for as low as $49.91 USD per month, but now you can buy it unlocked and use it with any other carrier out there.
