Woman Claims Android Phone Saved Her Life, Good Thing She Just Dumped an iPhone
Live-saving technology keeps making the headlines every once in a while, but this time it’s not an Apple Watch that helped someone discover serious heart problems.
According to a report from The Sun, former iPhone user Beth McDermott, suffered a head injury that caused her to become unconscious for no less than three days. When she woke up, due to an affection called rhabdomyolysis, she was unable to move her legs, so the only choice was picking up the phone to call the emergency services.
The Huawei Y6 that she only recently purchased still had 50 percent battery, she explains, something that allowed her to call an ambulance and receive the help she needed.
