Samsung Galaxy Phones May End Up Using Notches a la iPhone X

Samsung is one of the companies that promised to stay away from the controversial notch, and the South Koreans have even tried to capitalize on all the criticism around Apple’s design choice with a series of ads poking fun at iFans.

And while right now not a single Samsung phone uses a notch, that could all change if the information that was recently spotted in benchmarks is accurate.

After so many Android phone makers embraced the notch, Samsung might surrender the trend and bring it to the upcoming Galaxy M, which is believed to be a mix of Galaxy J, On and C series.

A Geekbench benchmark that was discovered recently revealed a Samsung SM-M205F model powered by an Exynos 7885 processor paired with 3GB RAM and running Android 8.1 Oreo.

The same model was then spotted on AnTuTu, and the listing indicates a potential resolution of 2340×1080 pixels.
