Opera Browser Now Running Natively on Apple Silicon

Opera browser has just received another major update, as the application is now running natively on Apple Silicon.

Back in November 2020, Apple officially announced its customer ARM-built M1 chip, and the company bragged about the performance figures the new processor can obtain.

And since then, developers across the world have been working non-stop on updating their apps for the new chip, and today it’s the turn of Opera to reveal an important performance gain on Macs.

And according to the official Opera figures, the speed boost users are now going to experience on Apple Silicon is pretty impressive.
