While statistics show that Android continues to be the number one mobile operating system all over the world, it’s also not a secret that the iPhone is the best-selling model in so many countries.
And statistics shared by Counterpoint and highlighted by Philip Elmer-DeWitt show that iPhone’s domination is real and won’t be coming to an end too soon.
In the United States, iPhone 11 Pro is the smartphone with the biggest market share, followed surprisingly not by the Samsung Galaxy S20 or another model in the Galaxy S lineup, but by the South Koreans’ Galaxy A10e. Samsung Galaxy A20 is next, with iPhone XR and iPhone 11 Pro Max taking the fourth and fifth places, respectively.
Things are even worse for Android in the United Kingdom where iPhones secured four of the top five spots in the mobile world, with only the Galaxy A71 making it to the fifth place.
