New iPad Pro with mini LED Just Around the Corner, It Seems

Apple has been fairly busy this fall, and it looks like the company isn’t resting on its laurels, with the product unveiling frenzy to also continue in 2021.

The Cupertino-based tech giant is projected to take the wraps off a new iPad Pro as early as the first quarter of the next year, with a new report from Digitimes revealing the device would use mini LED.

The new tablet will come with a 12.9-inch display, and the mini LED panels will be supplied by GIS, whereas BOE will remain an OLED supplier for the upcoming iPhones.

In addition to new iPads launching this year, Apple is expected to also release new MacBook Pros with an all-new design and mini LED panels. This is likely to happen in the fall of the year, as per Apple’s typical launch calendar.
