Leak Shows Cheaper iPhone Will Have Thicker Bezels

Apple plans to unveil three different iPhone models in September, and all of them would use the edge-to-edge design approach pioneered by the iPhone X, with a notch at the top for Face ID.

This means no iPhone launching this year would come with a home button and a fingerprint sensor, which in turn is an indication that the three devices would share a similar look, but instead boast different dimensions.

A photo that got leaked today via Benjamin Geskin claims to show the front panels of the three new iPhones launching this year, and by the looks of things, there’ll be small differences between the OLED models and the LCD sibling.

First and foremost, the 5.8-inch iPhone will be nearly identical with the current iPhone X, with similar bezels and notch. The iPhone X Plus with a 6.5-inch OLED screen appears to be a super-sized iPhone X, again with bezels and notch sporting the same sizes.
