The new iPhone XS Max with a 6.5-inch OLED screen is the most popular configuration of the new-generation iPhone, according to top-rated Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
In a new note sent to clients, Kuo explains that most customers choose the 256GB version of the iPhone, despite the fact that Apple has also launched a 512GB configuration.
However, there’s a chance that most customers think the 512GB iPhone XS Max is too expensive, as it can be purchased in the United States for $1,449.
A different reason for the 512GB iPhone XS Max not topping sales is a possible shortage of this version, as Kuo says that supply could be constrained by the NAND flash chips. Samsung is the company that builds the storage units for the top-of-the-range iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.
