Apple is getting ready to launch the new-generation iPhone in just one week, but in the meantime, the company is also planning in advance and working on new projects that could help it conquer a bigger part of the mobile market.
More specifically, the Cupertino-based tech giant has recently trademarked the iPhone for Life phrase in Hong Kong, according to a report from Patently Apple, but the company could then expand it to other markets as well.
Apple itself has been very vague about the whole thing, but judging from the information that the company has included in the official papers, it could be a rental program that it might use for the iPhone. Of course, this could make the device itself more affordable and allow more customers to get one, which for Apple is without a doubt an important step towards bigger market share.
