The iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus passed Consumer Reports’ tests with flying colors, with the group saying that Apple’s new devices are among the highest rated phones on the market right now.
The Consumer Reports testers have specifically praised the cameras of the new iPhone, saying that its staff considered “the phones’ rear cameras were among the best they’d ever evaluated. Strong points include juiced-up 4K video recording capabilities and a best-in-the-industry slow-motion feature.”
Even though it describes iPhone 8 as “an incremental update to the iPhone 7,” Consumer Reports claimed the new generation comes with cameras that improve not only videos, but also still photography, which is particularly better on the Plus model.
