iPhone 8 Envisioned with Glass Body, No Bezels, and Iris Scanner
The 2017 iPhone is expected to be a major overhaul of the current model, mostly because it marks the 10th anniversary of the device, so features like a glass body, no bezels, an iris scanner, and a home button integrated into the display are all being rumored.
And the concept you see here has been created mostly based on these rumors, imagining what the iPhone 8 could look like if all of these were to be implemented.
While there’s usually a big difference between concepts and what manufacturers actually launch, it’s worth saying that this iPhone 8 concept actually looks pretty good and doable, especially because Apple is indeed expected to integrate these features without changing the form factor in a substantial manner.
And this is what the concept actually envisions. The look of the device has been redesigned only slightly, but it does feature a glass body similar to what we’ve seen on the iPhone 4 and rumored to come with the next-generation model.
