Rumor has it that Apple’s iPhone could at some point get wireless charging and it appears that the next generation launching in September might actually be the first model to get it.
According to multiple reports, Apple has started hiring new experts that could help the company introduce a new type of wireless charging on the iPhone. Although such a feature is not yet available on its devices, Apple has been quite interested in wireless charging in the last couple of years and the company has even hired more than a dozen employees that could help research in this regard.
And more recently, Apple appointed two experts that previously worked for uBeam on wireless charging and ultrasonic technology which might find a place on a future iPhone model.
