The first reports about issues with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus emerged a few months ago when many owners claimed their smartphones are affected by display flickering or multi-touch problems.
At that time, Apple did not comment anything on the matter, probably thinking that this isn’t a widespread problem. Furthermore, the display flickering issue has been attributed to the fact that some users have dropped their iPhones more than once, which is why they phones started having problems.
Fast forward three months and Apple has decided that these issue aren’t that isolated as it believed in the first place. Starting right now, owners of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus affected by the so-called “touch disease” effect can repair them at Apple.
