Apple has completed the development of the next major iOS update, with the company to begin the rollout in early September.
This is according to Apple watcher Mark Gurman, who says that the work on iOS 16 was finished last week.
The new iPhone operating system version will be available on the iPhone 8 and newer, and the rollout will kick off shortly after the public announcement on September 7. The debut of iOS will take place alongside the unveiling of the new-generation iPhone in early September, and the public availability is expected shortly after the event.
