iOS 15 Could Bring Together Face ID and Touch ID

As per the typical release calendar, Apple is projected to release a new iOS version in September this year, with an early look at some of the changes to be provided in just a few months at WWDC.

As usual, the first beta build will land shortly after the event, but a report from iPhoneSoft claims to provide us with a bunch of details before the whole thing happens.

First and foremost, the report claims iOS 15 would come with a redesigned Control Center similar to the one currently available in macOS 11 Big Sur. In other words, Apple is allegedly planning to get a more consistent look of the Control Center across platforms, which at some level makes sense though a confirmation in this regard obviously doesn’t exist.
