Foxconn to Start Making the iPhone 13 in India in February

Getting an iPhone 13 these days is still quite a challenge, as the device is almost nowhere to be seen, with the waiting times sometimes reaching up to 2 weeks.

This is because of the component shortage that has impacted pretty much everybody, with Apple working around the clock on dealing with this problem as soon as possible.

In the meantime, Apple’s partner Foxconn is getting ready to begin the mass production of the iPhone 13 at its factory in Chennai. A report from the Economic Daily News reveals the first iPhone 13 made on Indian soil will see the daylight in February, with the operations to then gain more pace in the next few months.

Foxconn’s Indian output is going to help Apple align its iPhone 13 production with the global demand. The devices that are assembled in India won’t be aimed only at the domestic market but also at international customers.
