Today, Apple has announced that its employees will start enjoying the new 175-acre campus named Apple Park in April this year. Apple intends to relocate more than 12,000 employees, a process that might take over six months to complete.
Apple Park isn’t 100% ready, as Apple has announced that constructions of buildings and parklands will continue through this summer, as employees start taking up their offices inside the new campus. Apple Park is located in the center of Santa Clara Valley and will transform miles of asphalt into green space.
Steve Jobs envisioned the Apple Park as “a center for creativity and collaboration,” and in his honor, the theater at Apple Park will be named the Steve Jobs Theater. Steve Jobs would have turned 62… (read more)
