Apple’s New 11-inch iPad Pro Could Go on Sale on May 22

Apple announced the new 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models last week, but the company hasn’t provided any clear specifics as to when these devices are projected to go on sale.

While the pre-orders will go live on April 30, the Cupertino-based tech giant plans to actually start shipping the new iPad Pros in the second half of May.

But of course, since no specifics have been provided, nobody knows for sure when this is expected to happen, so it’ll definitely be a long and hard wait for those who pre-order the new tablets.

May 22 is a Saturday

But according to Apple leaker Jon Prosser, who has a good track on information regarding unreleased Apple products, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is projected to go on sale on May 21.

On the other hand, the 11-inch iPad Pro will hit the shelves a day later on May 22, and while at the first glance the timing more or less makes sense, there’s a little detail that doesn’t align with Apple’s typical release schedule…. (read more)
