No surprise here, but USA TODAY has compiled a top 5 chart that shows iPhones are the best-selling tech product of 2017 as Apple sold more than 223 million units this year worldwide.
Put together by GBH Insights analyst Daniel Ives for USA TODAY, the chart shows Apple is once again on top of things will 223 million iPhone units sold throughout 2017, up from 211 million iPhones sold in the previous year. But Apple is also in the fourth place on the chart with over 20 million Apple Watch devices sold in 2017.
On the second place, we find Samsung, which appears to have sold about 33 million Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 smartphones in 2017. And here’s where some of you might get angry, as the chart compiled by Daniel Ives isn’t fair to Samsung considering that Apple’s iPhone sales include more than two models.
