A recent report from the MacRumors site claims that Apple’s iPhone 8, which the Cupertino company plans to unveil this fall, will ship with a powerful 10W USB-C wall charger suggesting fast charging capabilities of the upcoming device.
It’s not the first time iPhone 8 is rumored to come with fast charging capabilities, as KGI Securities’ Ming-Chi Kuo Apple analyst said back in March that it’s very possible for Apple’s next flagship iPhone to feature a Lightning connector with USB-C Power Delivery for faster charging.
And now, it looks like the MacRumors site obtained a research note that Barclays recently distributed to its clients, written by analyst Blayne Curtis, where it notes the fact that the rumored iPhone 8 smartphone will come bundled with a 10W USB-C wall charger and an integrated USB-C Power Delivery chip.
