During the Human Rights Campaign dinner that took place on October 3, 2015, Tim Cook has accepted the Visibility Award for his support of the LGBT community and the HRC LGBT civil rights advocacy group.
As HRC President Chad Griffin stated, “through his example and Apple’s commitment to equality, LGBT young people in particular can look to Tim Cook’s incredible career and know that there is nothing holding them back,” said by way of introduction.”
