Apple will take the wraps off a new-generation Apple Watch in the fall of this year, and while the company has so far remained tight-lipped on everything related to this device, people familiar with the matter reveal some pretty intriguing tidbits.
This time, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg came up with new information on the more rugged Apple Watch model that could eventually hit the market as Apple Watch Pro.
In essence, this new device will be an upgraded Apple Watch whose role will be to position the smartwatch as a direct rival to Garmin products. At this point, Garmin is one of the leading companies in the activity tracking market, with the company’s latest products, namely the Fenix 7 and the Epix Gen2, also coming with upgraded smart capabilities.
