Back in 2015, I discusses the pros and cons of having a notification light on the iPhone, and one of the ideas that I proposed at that time was for Apple to use the Apple logo on the device to blink in case of new notifications.
Fast forward to 2019 and it looks like Apple finally got the message, with the company recently filing a patent to detail how the Apple logo can indeed serve a new purpose that would essentially convert it into a notification light.
