A dark iOS theme is a dream that’s yet to come true and which for some reason Apple still ignores. The WWDC keynote has brought us quite a plethora of announcements regarding iOS 12, but no word has been said on a potential dark theme.
And yet, it looks like the Cupertino-based giant is still working on some changes in this regard, as some documentation on its developer website shows that dark themes will be a thing in iOS 12.
By the looks of things, what Apple is aiming for with this is to encourage developers to create light and dark themes for their iOS 12-compatible apps. No further information was provided but insisting for a dark theme doesn’t make sense unless Apple itself might be working on something similar in this regard.
