Apple Wanted to Charge Devs Even More Money for Apps Published in the Store

Apple’s CEO Tim Cook is one of the tech executives that have testified to the United States House Judiciary Committee and address a series of antitrust concerns, and evidence that was shared during the meeting provided us with a first look at some of the practices that the Cupertino-based tech giant has looked into.

Right now, Apple is under fire for charging 30 percent for sales made through the App Store, and these include not only the apps that users themselves purchase, but also in-app purchases and subscriptions.
