Apple TV Plus, the streaming service from Apple that’s supposed to rival Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and all the rest, is going to make its debut in November.
Apple is a little late to the party with its streaming service, and there are already a number of established names in the industry that cover pretty much the entire spectrum. In fact, the market is badly fragmented between various companies, which means that no single one provides users with everything.
The only way to even make a dent into the streaming world is to dump a lot of money into the market, and this is exactly what Apple is doing with its service. A report from the Financial Times says that Apple is preparing to spend up to $6 billion on shows and rights.
