Apple to Start the Production of the iPhone 13 A15 Chip in May

Apple is expected to start the production of the next-generation Bionic chip for the iPhone in May, according to a new report, with TSMC to handle the operations at its own factories.

Digitimes writes that the A15 chip will use a 5-nanometer design, so in theory, it won’t be much different from its predecessor, though Apple is also expected to introduce substantial optimizations for reduced power usage and improved performance.

All iPhones launches in September

According to people familiar with the matter, the upcoming iPhone lineup will land in September, as Apple plans to begin the production at the right time and thus avoid a potential delay.
