Apple has just shipped a mysterious Apple AirTag update, and as compared to the previous releases, the new build comes without any changelog.
In other words, while the AirTag should totally be updated to the latest firmware, we know nothing about what’s included, so most likely, the Cupertino-based tech giant has focused mostly on bug fixes and other smaller refinements.
The new firmware update brings the AirTag firmware version to build 2A36.
In the meantime, the Cupertino-based tech giant is still facing criticism for the way some people misuse the AirTag. The GPS tracker has become worryingly popular among criminals, especially as they use the device to stalk people without them knowing about it.
Given the small form factor, the AirTag can be hidden pretty much anywhere, including behind license plates or right in the pocket, making it pretty difficult for the victim to spot it.
