Apple Says Android Switchers Contributed to Huge iPhone X Demand

Despite recent statistics indicating the iPhone 8 was the best-selling iPhone model during the third quarter, new data shared by none other than Apple’s CEO Tim Cook reveals the iPhone X was actually the one leading the charts.

iPhone revenue increased by 20 percent year-over-year, and customer satisfaction reached no less than 98 percent, which is impressive to say the least given the rising competition from other brands, like Samsung and Huawei.

Tim Cook says iPhone X performed particularly well thanks to first-time smartphone buyers, users who decided to upgrade from an older model, and people coming from Android. No specifics were provided on each of these categories.
