Apple Releases iOS 10 and macOS 10.12 Sierra GM to Public Beta Testers Too

After yesterday’s big announcements Apple made during its now famous “See you on the 7th” event, the Cupertino company pushed the GM (Golden Master) versions of iOS 10, macOS Sierra, watchOS 3, and tvOS 10 to registered developers.

We have to admit that we’re expecting to see the final releases of these next generation operating systems from Apple go public immediately after the event, but it didn’t happen, as Apple decided to seed the Golden Master builds just in case some last bugs are to be discovered before the said OSes hit the streets.

However, a GM version is the same as the final build of a software, so if you install it now, you won’t get a notification to install iOS 10 when it hits the stable channel for the rest of the world, only if some changes were made, which rarely happens, and if it does, that’s why there are point … (read more)
