Apple Paying Up to $2,500 for Old Hardware If You Buy a New Mac

Just like its rivals, Apple has been running a trade-in offer for quite some time now, allowing customers to get credit for old devices when planning to buy a new Mac.

This time, however, the company increased the payment customers could get to no less than $2,500 if they trade in a MacBook Pro or iMac in “excellent condition,” with some Windows devices also added to the list just in case a Microsoft user wants to make the switch to Mac.

On the other hand, the trade-in value for Windows PCs is significantly smaller and can only reach $500, with only a few models accepted, such as HP Spectre, Lenovo Yoga, and several Chromebook models released by Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Samsung, and Toshiba.
