Apple Maps Gets a Touch of Google Maps in Massive Design Concept

Apple Maps typically receives more or less breaking improvements with the release of new iOS releases, and as it happens every year, the next substantial update is expected during the summer at Apple’s WWDC conference.

And while we’re still some six months away from the moment a series of Apple Maps announcements would make the headlines, a concept created by designer Ayman Jaddaa envisions a truly massive overhaul for the app that includes everything from a more polished UI to new features and font refinements.

The Apple Maps case study starts with what the designer describes as a cleaner and more modern look based on additional tweaks to the home page and the introduction of three tabs at the bottom for Search, Commute and Me.
