Apple Likely to Kill Off the iPhone 11 This Year

The debut of a new iPhone generation in September will be the perfect opportunity for the Cupertino-based parent company to ditch some older models.

And according to a report from iDropNews citing internal Apple sources, one of the models that would be ditched in the fall is the iPhone 11.

Since Apple will launch the new iPhone 14 family, the company will continue to stick with the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 13 going forward. In other words, Apple will sell no less than three different iPhone generations, so keeping the iPhone 11 around doesn’t make much sense.

Furthermore, the iPhone SE will also represent the smallest iPhone on the market, as Apple reportedly plans to drop the iPhone mini form factor this year.
