Apple Likely to Become the World’s Number One Phone Maker This Quarter

New data from TrendForce anticipates a change of places at the top of the phone industry in the fourth quarter of the year, especially as Samsung declines while Apple records growing demand thanks to the iPhone 14 lineup.

The company expects Samsung’s market share to drop from 22.2 percent to 20.2 percent, therefore becoming the runner-up in the mobile race.

Apple, on the other hand, would record a major boost thanks to the new iPhone generation, this time fueling a massive increase from 17.6 percent to 24.6 percent.

Xiaomi would continue to be the third company in the charts despite dropping from 13.1 percent to 12 percent share.
