Apple products are generally pretty expensive, so many people choose to wait until the holidays hoping the company or other retailers would release substantial discounts.
This almost never happens at Apple, and it certainly doesn’t happen this year, as the Black Friday 2018 sale launched by the Cupertino-based tech giant is disappointing, to say the least.
As the company’s Black Friday sale page indicates, you’re not getting any discounts on iPhones, iPads, or MacBooks, but only… Apple Store Gift Cards when you purchase a new device.
iPhone “deals”
As you probably know already, iPhones have set a new record this year as to how expensive a phone can get, with the iPhone XS Max topping at $1,449 in the United States.
And yet, Apple sees no reason to launch a Black Friday discount, despite the declining sales, so what you get if you purchase a new iPhone is a $50 Apple Store Gift card… (read more)
